On the night of Memorial Day 2019, 14 tornados swept through the Dayton area where Christopher & Cathy Hill were huddled together in a basement bathroom with their son. They survived, along with the Red Oak tree in their yard, and one Ash that had no leaves left. The 15 soft maples could not weather the storm.
Gratitude is a state of mind that can be harnessed at any given moment, and it doesn’t take surviving a tornado to begin seizing it.
